June 1966
Our engineers have completed the design phase of the upcoming electric vehicle today and have presented the platform to the design department. This stage is very important given that Detroit or any other part of the world has a platform quite like the one that our engineering staff has completed, but now comes the task of fitting a body to the platform that will not only look good but be most efficient.
The vehicle is riding on our patent-pending A3127 fully electric platform, consisting of a single rear-wheel drive configuration derived from the ultra-luxury full-size Cascade Kenai range-topping sedan. Our engineers have worked consistently to allow the existing transmission to work with this motor configuration to provide our customers who choose to purchase this vehicle a similar driving experience as the other models that Emerson Motors currently has on sale. This motor, transmission, and battery platform are designed to produce close to the performance of some of our other vehicles in the line-up, all while being 540 lbs heavier than the Cascade Kenai but shorter than the Mid-Size Luxury Essence, achieved by the premium talent of our design team.
Given that we have just started this process, which could take up to 95 months to come to market, things can change.
Thank you,
Edward J. Emerson,
CEO of Emerson Motor Company
