A 2+2 (also known as a 2-plus-2) is a car body style with two rear seats in addition to a seat for the driver and front passenger. In the latter, there may be individual "bucket" seats, fold-downs, or a full-width "bucketed" bench seat, but there is never as much legroom as in the front or a typical 2-door car. The design differs from conventional 4- or 5-seat vehicles in that the second-row 2+2 seating is typically only appropriate for children or occasional use.
A buyout, as used in finance, is an investment transaction through which a company's own equity or the majority of its stock is purchased. By doing this, the acquirer "buys out" the target company's current equity holders. The buyer may also purchase the target company's outstanding debt, which they refer to as "assumed debt" in a buyout.
