Dork Unveils Dunira: A New Mid-Size Luxury Sedan

 February 25, 2020

Dork has officially taken the wraps off its newest luxury sedan, the Dunira, which will slot above the Atlas in the brand’s expanding product lineup. This is not a replacement, but a strategic addition—marking Dork’s first-ever entry into the mid-size luxury sedan segment.

While the compact Atlas remains a strong entry point for luxury buyers seeking value—offered in base, Ultra, and SL trims—the Dunira is designed for those desiring a vehicle slightly larger than both the Atlas and the Allure Bay A50. Staying true to Dork’s engineering philosophy, the Dunira features a front-wheel-drive layout and carries forward the brand’s evolving design language, including the new corporate grille and retractable door handles.

Under the hood, the Dunira comes standard with the proven 195-horsepower engine shared with the Atlas SL and Ultra. A new V6 powertrain is currently in development to enhance performance, addressing the added weight from the Dunira’s larger dimensions—seven inches longer than the Atlas and approximately 200 pounds heavier.

Dimensionally, the Dunira positions itself precisely in the luxury landscape: two inches longer than the Allure Bay, four inches shorter than the premium Allure Essence, and priced between the Atlas and Bay. Launch is scheduled for 2021.
