The Dork Elgin, while not offering performance shattering performance sets the stage for its sister brand the Emerson BKC redesign for 2023 offering 300 horsepower base offering up from the 276 in the 2019 designed model. Cost efficiency is driving the redesign as well as realignment with the addition of the Elgin.

The new BKC communicates lower luxury offerings replaced by performance upgrades. This is felt the first time the yet to be release, new BKC starts upgrading from the naturally aspirated 1.5L to a 2.5L straight 6.
