#GearCity7: 2020 Emerson Performance C5 TTS4 Concept

#Design

The design is fresh on a historic body that has been massaged increasing depth. This is needed to move from the current design that has been in production, though refreshed, since the late 60s. This concept pays honor to this through it's 506 R naming and the overall shape. What changes moving forward is the creative ways of using lighting to better define the look providing customers with a familiar look and a dash of distinctive lighting elements.

#Result

After consideration of the concept many of the design features have been changed to move the C5 closer to a production model. With doing so has contributed to a more cohesive design language that is closer to the current model, but includes the newer lighting signatures.

#Production

At this moment it is not clear if the new design will be introduced to the public. Financial obligations are the driving factor for this current determination. This is a direct result of the turmoil in the world putting a strain on consumer spending habits which in turn reduces sales this quarter. Emerson Motors due to this had reduced production world wide to decrease inventory that was at a high point creating the need to furlough staff in certain regions until management figured out a plan to co-exist with the new policy changes as well as global uncertainty.

#Moving #Forward

It is too soon to know if it is a good procedural decision to introduce a new design of the Emerson Performance C5 TTS4. This is in part due to the negative profits of the 2018 C5 models, in particular the gas versions as of October 2018 according to the summary report generated (Emerson Motors, 2018). While cash flow is high this month at just over $44 billion (Emerson Motors, 2018), and the expense summary has Emerson Motors' financial depart concerned that operations will or could potentially fall short of its planned goal to match or exceed last years profits of just over $1 trillion (Emerson Motors, 2018).

#Motorback

Emerson Motors' ownership of Motorback has decreased for the need to fund upcoming projects which created a strain on financial resources. This has highlighted a determined effort to stay financially stable in these uncertain time and to provide customers with affordable vehicles which cater to enthusiast and mainstream customers.
