GearCity: Platform readiness, updates to Corporations files for SimulationGC7

Platform

After consideration of the alternatives, a revised platform was configured for SimulationGC7. Updates are needed as new technology becomes available for the project. This action, while not directly impactful on the simulation at this point, creates future benefit opportunities moving forward.

Direct Updates

Updates are being configured for the added corporations, governments, family statistics, housing parameters, and different driving examples of non-player characters (NPCs) based on third-party data. The use of third-party data will continuously be a focus point for the project to keep personal experience out of the project, which could contaminate the output. By doing this, it also combats the entrapment of roads closing, reducing the power of personal data, and further employers' third-party data for effective artificial intelligence (AI) reading, strategizing, and fairness. 

Emerson Motors

The company is still in operation as of April 2019 (SimulationGC7 date). To steer the company through a vision of providing customers with vehicles with flexible fuel offerings, third-party data was used. This ensures that while the edits are taking place, Emerson Motors does not get to benefit directly, as the above-mentioned SimulationGC7 is about platform configuration, not as a competitive measure, which can create an environment of unfair competition. So, to work on both will be unethical; the pause is continued on Emerson Motors until the direct updates are completed. This is for a few different reasons: one, to keep out as much personal information as possible, and two, to not have overlapping tasks highlighting a conflict of interest.
