GearCity has a vast amount of calculations needed to sustain economic growth, populations, and logical competitive agents. With understanding, this started a census-like assessment of city files and turn of events along with supplemental files created to assist in the testing. This was not the original intent. There is genuine enjoyment of the thought of operating in a simulated environment modeled after the pioneers of the automotive industry outlined in the press release for GearCity.

Cycles

Completing the testing of GearCity while simultaneously having concern for the non-player characters (NPCs) contained within the construct. With these parameters taken into consideration, a series of cycles were completed. These tests take a considerable amount of logic, assessments, math, and empathy to complete the cycles, but this is countered with third-party data.

Third-Party Data

For projects this large, it generally takes a large team of individuals that have varying schedules and family commitments. Taking that into consideration and limited finances, third-party resources were looked for and used in the project. This was primarily done to keep personal feelings out of the data assessments and to maintain fair competition standards between Emerson Motors and the AI companies.

Current Stage

The year 1900 onward to 2000 is the current stage of assessment. This is broken down into sub-cycles to maintain equilibrium of time, rest, calculation, and data research.
