GearCity: SimulationGC7 Practice and Emerson Motors

Testing

After a successful first run, the simulation was put through the test of completing a 2022 cycle. This occurred and was also a success. 

Purpose

Testing is a main component of the simulation. The first experience produced unsatisfactory results with the updated file. The Edward J. Emerson file was tested using manual inputs to the data system, which differed from the updated file, which used a mixture of SQLite and guesswork.

Next Test

Hopefully, Lord willing, there will be another test for a deeper result in time within the GearCity game. These are major successes, as it does not try to trick the non-player characters into doing something they are not interested in. They are not subjected to double talk, which is what most professionals deem helpful but shows a lack of empathy for the results and for the characters involved.

Emerson Motors

Emerson Motors is at a standstill due to the testing. Manual editing and cycle tests are needed to understand the stability of the system and to try to recreate the unsuccessful test to year 2026.
