Motorback has value in the Emeron Motors family, contributing to Chungfung's Motorsport entry and creating internal competition. These are good for the overall growth of Emerson Motors, but they pull the corporation in a direction that is of a different vision. This and the primary vehicles Emerson Motors found interest in after the purchase have moved on to a discontinued state prior to the purchase.
Taking a $65 billion loss and the subsidiary cost of $54 billion highlights the costly sale pivot. Emerson Motors has taken over the South Korean facility, leaving Motorback with its Japan/HQ facilities. This was a necessary step for Motorback concerns due to slow sales and outdated products. Previously mentioned concerns, Emerson Motors moved van operations to the South Korean facility, sharing a platform for Motorback based on the new body-on-frame platform developed for the Emerson Truck.
