GearCity: updates for October 22, 2026 (A few days from My Mother's B-day....Happy Early B-Day!!!!)

Update

Working to understand the inner workings of information inserted into SimulationGC7. This involved looking at what information GearCity uses when loading and providing meaningful data for the system to read. This is a painstaking endeavor that is labor-intensive and requires my undivided attention. This is needed to avoid duplicate information (mostly from past resets) and code-friendly mistakes.

Duplicate Information

This part of the task requires many hours of reading through files. This does not just include recognizing the information but also understanding why it needs to be changed. After understanding this, time is the guiding light for the process. This happens over time and will expose the duplicates when doing active edits.

Code-Friendly Mistakes

This is a tricky one to understand and complete under the updates. The code-friendly mistakes are mistakes that the tools do not recognize as mistakes. This is where understanding and reading come into play during editing. At times, the software that is used for editing does not work properly. This paves the way for old-school editing inputs, checking, and follow-up.

Moving Forward

Emerson Motors has progressed to 2022, as mentioned in previous posts. Part of this is serious simulation GC7/GearCity strategizing, and the rest is AI setting 1. The latter is new and changes the trajectory of simulation activity.
