#GearCity 2024: Moving Forward in a Simulated Automotive Industry

Updates

Rolling updates seem to be a standard practice moving forward in Emerson Motors' automotive simulation. Honoring Eric's definitive choices in economic, social, and infrastructure areas minimizes confusion for workers in their respective locations around the world. This decision was not taken lightly, as changing this data would allow for a competitive advantage for Emerson Motors, paralleling the previously mentioned statement of "increased dominance of BW, a German automaker, and Urza, a Middle Eastern automaker, crippling many start-up corporations the closer the simulation got to the current date of June 2026" (Key, 2026, Purpose).

Progression

Two turns were executed in Emerson Motors' progression through the Greenland expansion of GearCity, brought on by a simulation connection, resulting in validation of the previously mentioned confusion reduction by keeping the 2020 files in order. ModTools' background interpolation data provides customers, workers, governments, agents, and executives with the ability to make sustainable decisions based on the information provided. Part of my job in this update is to secure their way of life while preserving Eric's intellectual property design.

Action

Further testing is progressing as data is analyzed to make micro adjustments. This labor-intensive operation of understanding is similar to watching the news and reading about it. There are areas of undiscovered opportunities for adjustments; time management and learning to take the driver's seat.
